Chapel Of Rest Snow - Caldwell County North Carolina. Located in the Patterson School Historic District, both the chapel and its cemetery are listed on the National Registry of Historic Places. The chapel is a restored 100-year-old Gothic structure overlooking the Yadkin River. The chapel’s cemetry contains burials beginning around 1856 and is the final resting place of General Collette Leventhorpe, a well-known soldier of eastern North Carolina during the Civil War.
