Just realized I hadn't posted this photograph taken last October. My buddy, Mike Koenig, and I hit perfect conditions on this day. We hiked down into the gorge late afternoon and had the whole place to ourselves. Our shutter fingers were happily clicking away trying to take in every conceivable composition.



We reluctantly had to stop when we realized it was pass sunset and by the time we began to hike up we were in total darkness. Luckily, Mike had a headlamp but it was still pretty creepy getting out. But what a great day.
