As couples, families and friends walk by, our subject stares judgementally. She gives off the impression of having a strong facade when in reality, she longs for connection in her own life. This photo was difficult to take as many people passed by and walked in front of the shot, but it was worth the wait. In post-production, I edited the green leaves to orange, to accentuate the fall mood.
