As I was heading into Asheville along the Blue Ridge Parkway, I noticed an opening in the clouds. In the distance you could see the Biltmore Mansion. I decided to wait and see if the light would move towards the Biltmore, and sure enough it did about 5 minutes later. The shaft of light illuminated the Biltmore Mansion, which helped give a sense of scale to the mountains that surround it.
