Water lifting station at Monastyrskaya pier on Valaam island, Sortavalskoye urban settlement, Sortavalsky district, Republic of Karelia, Russian Federation. Autumn in the North of Russia has decorated trees in different colors pleasing to the eye. The water in the lake darkened and became cold and mirrored reflecting the beautiful forest. The water intake station was built to provide the monastery with water.
